This young man didn’t have money for a vet, but he gives his all to transform neglected dog

People who are kind to animals, who would go out of their way to help them are one of the reasons why we haven’t lost our faith in humanity. We have seen so many dogs who are abused and neglected, and people who rescue these dogs remind us that there is still some good left in this world.

This young man in the Philippines is doing his best to help neglected dogs even though he doesn’t have much. Using herbs and home remedies, he was able to nurse a mangy neglected dog back to health.

His name is Raevin Amante Bonifacio. Raevin doesn’t make much, but he has rescued 6 dogs and 4 cats. The most recent dog he rescued was a mangy dog who has lost most of her hair and has wounds on her body.

The dog was clearly neglected, and she almost died of a heatstroke. Thankfully, Raevin rescued her and did everything he could to nurse her back to health.

Since he didn’t have funds to go to a vet, Raevin used leaves of a Gliricidia plant to treat the dog’s skin. The Gliricidia plant is known to have anti-fungal properties and can be used to treat mange in dogs. Raevin gave the dog a bath using water medicated with the plant’s leaves. Raevin also used Guava leaves which he found can also be used to treat mange.

Other than the leaves, Raevin also used Virgin coconut oil as an ointment and also added the oil to the dog’s food. Virgin coconut oil can be used as treatment for cuts and cracked paws. It also helps the dog’s digestion and can help prevent bacterial and viral infections. Virgin coconut oil can also give dogs a healthy coat and supple skin.

In addition, Raevin also gave the dog some vitamins to help build her immune system.

But most of all, he gave the dog what she really need, attention and tender loving care. Check out the video below!

Raevin was also able to have Brei dewormed and vaccinated, and he used his own money to have that done.

Raevin doesn’t have much but he will do everything he can for the dogs that he loves so dearly- and he will never give up on them.
